whats a divot?
if u hit a ball. u will come IN the ground/grass. a divot will come with the ball. (they will fly around 5-10 meters.

how do you hit down on the ball?
The best advice I can probably offer up is hit through the ball. Whenever your divot starts past the front of the golf ball, you’re hitting down on it. Next time you hit the range, align a tee with the start of the golf ball. Hit the shot, and see where your divot starts. That will tell you if you’re hitting down on it or not.

to jaylambo, when you make contact with the ball,make sure that your arms and hands are infront of the ball and lean forward on your downswing, when transfering weight
A stupid question:
Are you allowed in PGA rules to tee up a shot in the fairway after the first drive? I always thought that you could only hit off the tee with the first shot.
only from the very first shot on each hole mate! u can try using tee on second shot but dont get caught doing it lol.
