it’s got a steep learning curve that takes a bit to get good at but even though I suck compared to my friends i love just going out walking around with hole after hole. Only a few minutes away. But today was a somewhat sad day…lost my first disk that i only just got 2 days ago. Hopefully the distance driver i got to replace it will help more as i couldn’t throw that leopard all that far =/

I doubt it. Leopards are pretty easy to throw. Distance drivers require a better throw and are more difficult to use. Starting out try mid-range discs. They don’t have as much speed but are way more controllable, and most beginners will throw them further than long range drivers. I always recommend the stingray, it’s a very straight flying controllable midrange disc. Once you can comfortably hit 250-300 ft with it move on to a longer faster disc.

    Nice looking course.

ya maybe but i can actually throw my distance driver probably farther than I could my leopard. Still have yet to find or get it back somehow. The only big difference is really the fade which teaches you more than anything to learn how to throw. Plus I go out almost every day so I’ve picked up things probably a lot faster than someone else might when they first start.

Within 20 minutes of playing on my first day, my Leopard was in a pond. I overshot a 180 foot hole by about 50 feet…into a damn pond. This was today, so far I’ve spent $46 and change on frisbee golf, $25 on my starter pack and $21 on an Eagle and a Wraith. Don’t know if I made good choices but I like my Wraith, I’ve gotten over 250 feet already with it. I didn’t measure it, but on a 427 foot hole I got my disc well within 150 feet of the hole.
